This Intro to Yoga workshop is designed for anyone who’s curious about yoga but unsure where to begin—or for those who want to revisit the foundations with a more supportive, body-aware approach. Together, we’ll explore common yoga postures and break them down in a way that makes sense for your body.

Rather than trying to “get the pose right,” you’ll learn how to adapt each shape so it works for you. We’ll focus on functional movement—how poses can support strength, mobility, balance, and comfort in everyday life. You’ll discover how small adjustments, props, and awareness can transform a posture from something you struggle through into something that feels steady, useful, and even enjoyable.

Along the way, we’ll cover:

  • Simple alignment principles that prioritize joint health and stability

  • How to modify poses based on your unique structure and needs

  • Ways to build strength and flexibility without strain

  • The role of breath in supporting ease and focus
