Continuing Education for Yoga Teachers
Teaching yoga is a lifelong learning journey.
As teachers, we deepen our understanding not only of the practices we share, but of the people we serve and the communities we support. Continuing education offers an opportunity to refine your skills, expand your knowledge, and reconnect with the inspiration that first led you to teach.
Angela Hammond, E-RYT 500 and Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP), offers engaging, practical trainings designed specifically for yoga teachers who want to grow in their teaching with confidence, clarity, and authenticity.
Thoughtful, Practical Training for Yoga Teachers
Angela’s continuing education workshops combine thoughtful discussion, experiential practice, and practical teaching tools that you can immediately apply in your classes. Her approach blends decades of personal practice and teaching with a focus on making yoga accessible, relevant, and meaningful for modern students.
Workshops may explore topics such as:
Intelligent and accessible sequencing
Teaching mixed-level, trauma-informed classes with confidence
Refining cueing, language, and presence with hands-on assists
Supporting students through different life stages (including menopause and aging)
Yoga philosophy and bringing the wisdom of the tradition into modern classes
Pranayama (breathwork) techniques for teachers and students
Meditation practices and how to guide them effectively
Ayurveda for yoga teachers and students
Professionalism and the business of yoga
Each training is designed to support teachers in developing both technical skill and authentic voice.
Workshops at Main Street Yoga
Continuing education workshops are offered regularly at Main Street Yoga, where teachers can join a supportive learning environment alongside peers from the region. These sessions provide space to ask questions, share experiences, and reconnect with the deeper purpose of teaching yoga.
Teachers will leave with practical tools, fresh inspiration, and Yoga Alliance continuing education hours.
