The shift from summer to fall is an especially important time to support your body and mind. If we run headlong into winter without first releasing the heat of summer, we diminish our body's ability to accomplish the deep immune building that needs to happen in the cooler months. We set ourselves up for illness, joint pain, digestive problems, skin problems, weight gain, and other issues that could be avoided by mindful alignment with nature.
A gentle ayurvedic cleanse is the perfect way to align with nature and release the heat of summer. During this short and sweet cleanse, we will press the pause button for one week. We’ll slow down and make self care our first priority. We’ll learn practices that support our body’s ability to cleanse and detoxify itself. We’ll eat a simple diet that includes the foods that nature provides for us at this time of year. We’ll prioritize rest and relaxation.
