This monthly wellness group led by Rose Miller uses an evidence-based meditation technique called Kirtan Kriya to lower stress and improve memory and cognition. Each group will begin with gentle breath awareness and movement, progress to meditation, and conclude with optional sharing and discussion. Chairs will be provided, but participants are welcome to bring a yoga mat if preferred.
As an occupational therapist, Rose has over a decade of experience working to improve quality of life for people with Alzheimer’s disease, as well as other forms of dementia and memory loss. She is passionate about sharing strategies to help others thrive throughout the lifespan. When Rose learned about the proven effectiveness of Kirtan Kriya, she couldn’t wait to bring this simple yet transformative practice to her local community.
All abilities are welcome, and no prior yoga experience is necessary. This is a FREE offering. Registration is encouraged but not required.
