108 Sun Salutations

Join Sam for 108 sun salutations to celebrate the longest day of the year. You may be wondering though, why 108? According to ancient yogis 108 as a number represents the wholeness of existence. This number also connects the Sun, Moon, and Earth. The average distance of the Sun and the Moon to Earth is 108 times their respective diameters. Such phenomena have given rise to many examples of ritual significance, one being the offering of 108 Sun Salutations. We will be completing these in groups of 12. Challenge yourself by trying to complete all 108, or feel free to drop in and out as you wish. Modifications can also be taken as needed.
